I promised I would post some more photos from London, so here it is. Kees and I went to Highgate Cemetery for a couple of hours. Kees wanted to see Karl Marx’ grave, but also knew I’d be thrilled to take some photos at this amazing cemetery. Boy, was he right!

The cemetery, which was opened in 1839 is actually still in use, although it seems most graves are overgrown by trees and other plants. It is all these overgrown, overturned, or broken graves which gives the cemetery such an astonishing atmoshpere. I don’t know what else to write really, the photos pretty much speak for themselves…
