While in Hanoi, we went to visit the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh. Together with many school children and other tourists we waited in line in the hot sun for about an hour. Luckily there was a long canopy to provide some protection from the sun.
Once inside, everybody slowly and quietly moved in a two by two line passed the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. To preserve his body, the mausoleum is being cooled, which was also a nice refreshment after waiting for so long in the hot sun. Nevertheless, it was an impressive experience to have been there.
